i | | BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES I 9 $ Johnstown and Gilded Knight were returned to Aqueduct from Pimlico. Jockey J. Adams, who rode into prominence on the West Coast, accepted his first mount on a New York track Monday afternoon when he piloted Dinah Desmond in the second race. Jockey L. Dupps canceled his engagements for the afternoon and departed for New England at the command of trainer "Buddy" Hirsch. The Duke of Roxborough was the guest of Pete Widener Monday afternoon. The "bug" on Sunnyshore was waived in the first race Monday at the request of owner Jackson, and L. Hardy accepted the mount. In honor of President Anastasio Samoza of Nicaragua, who will visit Belmont Park Tuesday, the secondary feature of the day was named for the Latin-American republic. The horses that A. "Spec" Dunn purchased from the Falaise Stable were for the account of C. H. Lauck.
