AJAXS AMAZING RECORD The sensational Australian star, Ajax, which won nineteen straight races before meeting defeat, has a record of twenty victories out of twenty-one starts, and earned 24,000. On the concluding day of the Australian Jockey Club meeting on April 15, he carried 131 pounds and ran a mile in 1:35 3-4, just a quarter of a second short of the Australian record.
