PARSCOUT broke off stride when -unprepared at the start, trailed her field to the final turn, drove through on the inside of the leaders rounding the turn, then came around KENTY to take command in the last eighth and drew out nicely under pressure. KENTY was made entirely too much use of getting to the front and tired after disposing of early opposition. SHORT DISTANCE outbroke her field, was stoutly urged to keep up with KENTY and tired while finishing in the middle of the track in the last quarter mile. REX FLAG was placed to strong urging after going five-eighths, but failed to better his position. CONQUER was hurried along to force the early pace, but appeared to labor in the footing. MR. LITTLE PERCY improved his position gradually and came determinedly in the closing drive. JUSTA FLIGHT, a very slow beginner, dropped far back early, then closed an immense gap.
