PROBABLE SUBURBAN FIELD Six to Teh Starters Expected to Go in Belmont Park Decoration Day Attraction — Four Eated Even. v NEW YORK, N. Y., May 27 —From six to ten starters are expected in the 0,000 added Suburban Handicap, which, weather permit-j ting, may attract the largest crowd of the | season tor Belmont Park on Tuesday, Me-j morial Day. Many of the top weights are expected to accept the issue in the mile andj one-quarter event. I An idea of the possibilities of the race may be gained from the weights of the probable starters, as John B. Campbell, The Jockey Clubs official handicapper, considers Cravat, Pompoon, Sir Damion and Jacola all even, j They were assigned 121 pounds each with the exception of Jacola, but considering her sex allowance she is rated with them at 116 pounds. Thanksgiving is only a pound under that group. Heelfly, assigned 115 pounds, is a certain starter, while possible candidates include Brown King, 112; Handcuff, 110; Jolly Tar, iOo; Roseretter, 104, and Piccolo, 102 pounds. Thanksgiving and Heelfly completed their Suburban preparation this morning, the former going the distance in 2:07%, handily, and the Alfred Vanderbilt veteran in 2:10, easily. Mrs. Parker Comings four-year-old was timed the half mile in :49; three-quarters in 1:15% and mile in 1:41%. Heelflys half mile was :51; three-quarters, 1:17, and mile, 1:44.
