THORNCLIFFE PARK READY TORONTO, Ont., May 27.— Thorncliffe is all set for the opening on Monday, and today racing secretary Pat Galliger was at the Leaside course to take the entries, while A. Simms looked after those wishing to enter from Woodbine. Nominations closed yesterday for the Lou Marsh Memorial Handicap, at six furlongs, one of the features of opening day, and among those nominated are Jelwell, Repeller, Pause, Tetragyn, Sir Marlboro, Try Hard, High Honors and others. Of course, racing patrons will remember the duel last year between Sir Marlboro and High Honors, and if both accept the weight for Monday, the fans are going to see another one of those famous battles.
