GRIMALDI, prominent thioughout. offered good contention, but was overmatched. CHARLES ADEE, placed forwardly early, could not improve his position. GRAND SWEEP finished with a rush. PLENTY CHARM, in close quarters earlv and again in the stretch, finished strongly when dear. PARLOR TRICK had no excuse. THE DARB lacked speed throughout. TEEN1E R. raced well. PARYA STELLA, placed forwardly early, was going strongly in the stretch, but was caught in close quarters near the end. ROXANA S., on the outside throughout, responded well in the final stages. BOBBIE EASTER finished resolutely. CIVIL WAR had no excuse. MARCH STEP could not keep up. GLENCOT tired after reaching contention. Overweight — Parva Stella, 2 pounds; Roxana S., 1; Kid Coventry, 3. The latter, forced to race wide throughout and far out in the track in the final stages, closed resolutely and probably would have won in a few more strides. BEAVER LAKE moved up stoutlv approaching the stretch, was in close quarters, but finished with good courage when clear. JERRY FLIRT raced evenly after reaching contention. ESREVINU raced in contention from the start and was in close quarters entering the stretch, but closed resolutely when clear.
