SWEEPING BOW, steadied along early, moved into command when ready, bore over after reaching the stretch, outfinished NOAHS PRIDE, but was disqualified for foul and placed second. The latter, going in his best form, improved bis position on the inside, was impeded by the winner during the run through the stretch and, probably the best, held on in fine style. STRANGE TIMES sprinted into a good lead under steadying restraint, was in close quarters when challenged and tired thereafter. TACHEONE tired. SYMPATHIZER was unable to keep up. GRAND MARIE made up ground. IMPERIAL NICK began from outside of the stalls and was outrun. Scratched— 75871 Arctic Star, 112. Overweight — Sweeping Bow. 4 pounds. BLAGDEN, rushed to the front, drew clear rapidly, increased his advantage under light urging, bore out badly in the drive, but held HENRY M. safe. The latter worked his way forwardly under good handling and finished strongly. SOUND WAVE, slow to begin and on the outside when racing forwardly, came through the field for the stretch and closed resolutely. B EIGHTY made up ground. TAKUS tired. RADIO CHARM was in close quarters to the stretch. PRETTY BUSY was unable to keep up. JADVA was outrun. DEDICATION dropped back soon after the start and jhowed nothing under listless handling.
