Won ridden out ; second and third driving. HOLBEIN was in close quarters rounding the far turn, worked his way clear, assumed command in the stretch run and finished with good courage at the end. ROYAL MARRIAGE was sent into command at the start, showed speed, but bore cut slightly and then came again at the finish. DRAWSTRAWS was taken in hand when outrun, came to the outside in the stretch and finished well. BASHI BAZOUK was rushed up fast rounding the stretch turn and then faltered at the finish. SCARLET RAIDER broke slowly and then made up some ground on the outside. DON PECOS broke in a tangle. INDUCE was unable to threaten the leaders. EN TOUR showed early speed and then quit. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third easily. SUMATRA was kept close up under restraint while jumping well, responded to severe pressure in the stretch run and outlasted SHIP EXECUTIVE at the end. The latter, a trailer for the first mile and a half, moved up with a rush when urged, assumed command at the final fence, but faltered at the end. FARNDALE closed some ground, but could not menace the leaders at the finish. ONE ROUND raced wide at all turns, losing much ground. BIG REBEL tired badly after forcing the early pace. STROLLING ON raced greenly, but showed a good effort, finishing well. STRAWBERRY finished well at the end. CENTURY NOTE raced greenly all the wa . SOLATIUM raced greenly throughout. FIGHTING FOX moved into command at the start and displayed high speed throughout while saving ground and then drew away in the final eighth, winning with speed in reserve. CANT WAIT dropped back after the break, was sent up on the outside rounding the far turn, lost much ground entering the stretch and finished well. ROUGH TIME, a forward factor all the way, had no mishaps in the running. THE CHIEF was sent through on the inside entering the stretch and finished fast. ENTRACTE raced close to the pace from the start, but faltered badly in the final eighth. LOVELY NIGHT was shuffled back shortly after the start and failed to menace the leaders at the end. Won ridden out ; second and third easily. JOHNSTOWN set a fast pace from the start, shook off CHALLEDON rounding the far turn and drew away, but was roused sharply through the stretch to hold SUN LOVER safe. The latter was outrun in the early stages, improved his position on the inside when settled for the stretch run after saving ground and finished gamely at the end. CHALLEDON raced head and head with JOHNSTOWN for the first quarter mile, then dropped back and was placed under pressure through the stretch. VOL1TANT broke fast from outside the stalls, lost ground entering the stretch and failed to make up ground at the end. TIME SHEET was outrun all the wav and was never a factor. WISE BARRISTER, on the outside of the leaders through the stretch, finished with good courage. AT PLAY was in close quarters rounding the far turn. ROLL AND TOSS, on the inside from the start, could not gain on the leaders. MICHIGAN FLYER had no mishaps in the running. WAR MAGIC showed a flash of speed. SCENESHIFTER was never a serious factor. JOLLY TAR moved up fast on the inside rounding the far turn, made a determined bid when urged and then faltered at the finish. GRANDEVER, a trailer to the stretch, fiinshed well BE QUAINT was under restraint to the final quarter post and then quit. PICCOLO lacked speed and could ont improve r position.
