THACKERS INITIAL WINNER CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 17.— Francis "Pat" Tracker, chubby, dark-haired Chilli-cothe, Ohio, boy, was astride the first winner of his riding career here at North Randall Friday. He was aboard Sweeping Fire, owned by his contract employer, James C. Ellis, to score decisively. Twenty-two years old, Thacker, who weights 100 pounds, has been galloping horses for three years. He had ridden some thirty races before his triumph on Sweeping Fire. Last year, Ellis, president of the Dade Park Jockey Club, had another contract apprentice, Sammy Williams, who led the nations riders for a good part of the year.
