Considering Twilight Racing, Daily Racing Form, 1939-06-19

CONSIDERING TWILIGHT RACING CRETE, 111., June 17.— Col. M. J. Winn, president of the American Turf Association, said here today that the matter of whether Latonia would have twilight racing this summer had not been decided upon. He admitted, however, that he was seriously considering late afternoon and evening racing at the Covington track, whose summer meeting opens June 29. He said a decision probably would be reached early next week.
