TRAICIONERO, a forward factor early, stayed close to the pace to the far turn, then moved up on the inside, forged to the front a sixteenth out and, under a drive, came on to win going away. MERRY FREDA took command soon after the start and set the pace to the final sixteenth, then tired. PARGO, never far back, closed steadily on the outside rounding the stretch turn and held on gamely in the final drive, although tiring.
