ALWAYS GLAD, closer up than usual and lucky to get through next to the rail entering the stretch, wore down TUREEN in the stretchy and was drawing clear near the end. TUREEN had the most speed, shook off GREAT NATION after a half, opened a commanding lead, but quit badly in the final sixteenth. MERRYMOOD, well placed, moved up threateningly in the stretch, then tired. MACKS PRINCE had a rough trip. ROLLSFAST, knocked back-early, came again near the finish. RODALMA- had no excuses. GOOD DOCTOR, reserved early, moved to the leader with a rush on the turn into the stretch, then faltered in the drive. SATIN ROLLS quit. GREAT NATION and MEMORY CHAIR had early speed.
