ROCK KNIGHT, a factor from the start and forced wide early, came fast to wear down SPIN ALONG and won with something left. HILL SUN, under strong urging from the start, drifted out after entering the stretch, then responded well when straight and finished strongly. STRICTLY TRUE held on well. JIMJOE raced wide, early,, came to the inside in the stretch and closed with a rush. SPIN ALONG had good speed and tired. GHOST HUNT had no mishaps. JAY JAY, slowest to start and well back early, was -sent to the outside leaving the turn, was literally running over horses when straightened away for the drive and won with much to spare. VISITING NURSE had no mishaps and finished in d dead heat with BILLS SISTER. The latter established a clear lead rapidly, held sway td the last stages and tired rapidly. STOLEN TRYST was outrun. The latter saved ground when improving his position and was unable to menace the winner, but was much the best of the others. MONIDA dropped far back in the opening quarter and raced forward on the outside, then closed with a rush. KSAR OF AUDLEY tired. AONBARR was well back early and appeared not to like the going. DAWN ATTACK, was fractious at the start and held a prominent position for five-eighths, then tired. GREY WING raced wide on the turn and dropped back after three-eighths. The latter dropped back soon after the start, came -to the inside for the drive, was sent to the outside of WITCHWATER when inside the final forty yards and oulfmished PARACHUTIST. The latter moved forward with a rush and, on the outside, .finished .strongly. STEFANITA had to race wide and made up .ground in the drive. WITCH-WATER, under strong handling from the start, forged to the front approaching the final quarter and tired after relinquishing the lead. ADROIT had speed. ASK ME NOW was outrun.
