Boy Owner to Become Rider By Special Correspondent NEWMARKET, England.— H. Smith, the 15-year-old schoolboy who startled the old-timers at the Newmarket October Yearling Sales last year when he bid 115 guineas for a yearling by Precipitation, hopes soon to be riding for a Newmarket stable. Negotiations are proceeding for him to be apprenticed.
