Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS at Hawthorne, Cicero, 111., May 29. The veteran rider, Herman Schutte, was an arrival from Churchill Downs and will ride as a free lance doing the remainder of the meeting. Owner-trainer A. C. Thompson was an arrival from Paducah, Ky., with the eight-year-old gelding Nicabe. 8. Bryant Ott bought the mare Plaster from J. Emery and will ship her to the I Golden Maxim Farm in Kentucky to be bred. Trainer James E. Hall took over Bud West, Frankish King, and Thankful for owner E. F. Fuller. P. J. Valenti, owner of Seamans Pal and others here, left for his home in New Orleans. The veteran jockey William Lowe packed his tack and departed for Omaha, Nebr., where he will ride out the remainder of the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting.
