SKIP ORR, away fast, gave way to UP GRADE after three furlongs, came again when hard ridden through the stretch and disposed of the latter in the last stride. UP GRADE, a keen factor from the beginning, went to the front approaching the stretch, continued gamely under good handling, but could not withstand the winner and just missed. GYPSY LEA lacked early speed, but finished fast under urging. RIVER JACK raced wide. TETRAMORE, in trouble immediately after the break, tired after racing prominently to the stretch. PUNCH N JUDY was done early. SONNY HAYNES quit badly after racing fcrwardly placed to the last eighth. GERANIUM was pinched back after beginning fast and failed to recover. CASHIER went to the front early,-established a commanding lead and won as her rider pleased. SPEEDY LEE, a sharp factor from the beginning, came willingly when roused for the drive, but could not threaten the winner. CINDY LEE, away very slowly and forced to take up several times when caught in close quarters, could not threaten when clear. PALOMA LINDA raced evenly without mishap. LANTERN was outrun. EARL V. Z. failed to stay after showing early speed. SANDALWOOD could not keep up. FASHION PLAY was never prominent. Overweight— Speedy Lee, 3 pounds; Cindy Lee, 2.
