Armed Is in Great Shape, Trainer Jimmy Jones Says BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 29. — Young Jimmy Jones, trainer of Calumet Farms Armed, was asked today what he thought of his charges chances of winning the Suburban Handicap. "Hes in great shape," he replied, "and I know hes going to run his race — but he has 10 or 12 horses to beat, you know. It shapes up as a real tough race to me, because there are plenty of "speed" horses and come from behinders in it." Armed has not been nominated for any of the stakes at Aqueduct. He is to be shipped to Chicago for the Arlington and Washington Park meetings with the other horses owned by Warren Wright who is expected here tomorrow to see his campaigner run in the Suburban.
