Gruber to Vacation HAWTHORNE, Cicero, HI., May 16.— James P. Gruber, currently serving as patrol judge at the Lincoln Fields-at-Hawthorne meeting, will depart for his home in Lexington for a short vacation prior to taking up his duties as steward at Fairmount Park.
