! RIVER DOWNS GARTER Lost much ground in lone outing at Beulah Park. Bears watching, especially so over a route of ground. PARICO Victor at the recently concluded Churchill Downs meeting. Competes best with claimers of the ,500 variety. FLAPS Has been training satisfactorily. Could earn brackets at first asking. GELLERS OUT This one has been freshened up and may register at this meeting. MALEMUTE Scored over cheap company at Keeneland. A route of ground is desired. BUSY BLACK On the cheap side, but usually is right there when competing over this track. MARJO Another who campaigns with platers in the lower brackets, but is capable of scoring when the going is muddy. JOIS Trainer Reid Armstrong has this veteran sprinter at peak condition. Likes this track, as shown in morning trials. TIGER LEE This filly is reported to be going soundly after a long rest. Could earn a purse soon facing horses of her own age. SENATOR T. Make take the lead at the start and continue to show the way until crossing the wire in initial try here. BART O WAR Erratic, but usually pays his way. Best suited at six furlongs. SEASON CALL Has been on the sidelines during the cold months, but may give good account of himself in debut. BOTYE Should find company here that he can handle. Appeared overmatched in races during Florida campaign. OUR BEST Can sprint or go a route of ground and might triumph here competing with fair allowance company. CATCHER UPPER Revels in mud. Reported at top form for a quick score. SHES A LADY Morning trials indicate this filly is going soundly. Is better than last seasons efforts show. EASY JACK A router who went well in Florida the past winter. Should enter the winners circle here soon.
