Dorothy Pomp Foals Colt HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., May 24. Watt Elliott, veteran Maryland owner and breeder, today reported the birth of a foal to his former race mare, Dorothy Pomp. The newcomer is by Alaking, and is a strapping chestnut colt. Dorothy Pomp was retired from racing by Elliott last spring. She had been one of the most consistent performers on the Maryland turf and has been a winner during each year of her eight years of racing. Before being retired, Dorothy Pomp had won her last two races.
