BUV had the most speed from the start, set a good pace and held THORNITA safe. The latter attempted to go with the early pace, was not good enough and was tiring in the final stages. ALL TRUMPS came forward well, was hemmed in rounding the far turn, rushed up in the stretch and finished well. FLORAL PAR passed faltering horses late. SMART CHARLEY gave way early. ALIBI-ANN raced forwardly from between horses, swung to the outside of CARDINALS GLEE for the stretch run and wore down the latter through the final stages. VEE was rushed up in the stretch, but was not good enough to menace. AMBLE TINT gave way under pressure. BIG SLEDGE went forwardly briefly from the outside, but could not hold his speed. GOOD DOCTOR improved his position gradually, came over slightly after entering the stretch, recovered and drew away under urging. FLOYSAN contributed to the defeat of O. K. MULLEN and, while moving in the stretch, had to be momentarily taken up. MEYSAH was tiring at the finish. STRAW BASKET had to be taken out while moving up inside the last furlong and lost momentum as horses came over. INDIAN SEA dropped back after the start. O. K. MULLEN quit. The latter raced closest from the start, moved up momentarily between calls in the stretch, but was not good enough. SIR GERALD closed some ground late from the inside. PARILARIS dropped back when outrun, moved up approaching the stretch and finished well. MIGRATION lost ground while racing on the outside. GEORGIA STAR showed little. SEMISHOOT was done early. DICK STICKNEY gave way through the final three-sixteenths. HAPPY GUESS made his move entering the stretch, then faltered. JEROKEY gave way after getting within sriking distance of the winner.
