SUNRID, reserved until reaching the stretch, was sent to the outside for the drive and, responding to mild urging, assumed command and drew clear. TOP SERGEANT, never far back, came willingly when set down for the stretch run, but could not overtake SUNRID. COUNTRY MISS, away slowly and outrun to the stretch, finished fast WOBBLE PUMP saved ground while racing forwardly placed to the last three-eighths, then weakened. MY GRACE tired after engaging DIESEL SAND to the stretch. DIESEL SAND began fast, made the pace for three-quarters, then gave way. CAROLINA BELL was far back throughout. Attendance, 10,220; Total Mutuel Pool, 10,353. Returned to Public, 18,008, Less Breakage.
