Burckhalter Kicked by Horse ATLANTIC CITY, Mays Landing, N. J., May 27. John F. Burckhalter, trainer of the Glenwood Farm stable, suffered a severely lacerated ear and cuts about the face when he was kicked by a horse in the stabling area this morning. After receiving first aid at the track, Burckhalter was removed to the Atlantic City Hospital.
