Tigel Rebel, Brent and Talbots stakes-winning five-year-old son of Tiger arid Suellen, has been assigned topweight of 124 pounds for the tenth running of the 0,000 La Salle Handicap, next Saturdays Lincoln Fields feature. Tigel Rebel, victor in nine engagements last year, one of which was the 5,000 Churchill Downs Special, recently arrived here with the John M. Goode public stable. John Marschs Mighty Story drew 123 pounds for the La Salle, while Mrs. John S. Letelliers Jack S. L., victor in the Clark Handicap at Churchill Downs and the Crete Handicap here on inaugural day, gets in the one mile and three-sixteenths week-end headliner under 122 pounds. Due to the fact that Calumet Farms Pot o Luck has not progressed far enough in his training to accept such a rugged test as the La Salle, trainer Ben A. Jones declared his charge from the Saturday stake. Pot o Luck, winner of several Florida engagements and also Keenelands Ben Ali Handicap, injured a hoof in the Clark Handicap and his conditioning was necessarily interrupted.
