Tzaritsa, Keep Moving Annex Seashore Dashes Both Register by Good Margins In Oceanic, Beachcomber Purses ATLANTIC CITY, Mays Landing, N. J., May 27. Co-features of the off-day card at Atlantic City today were the Oceanic and the Beachcomber Purses, a pair of sprints for three-year-olds that carried identical conditions and that "were each worth ,500. Both of these races fifth and sixth on the program fell to visitors who raced recently in New York. Tzaritsa, from the Marlet Stable, was the best by a couple of lengths margin in the Oceanic, defeating the warmly fancied Pompeian, and Keep Moving, an On Watch colt carrying the colors of John Truett, was an even easier winner of the Beachcomber, a dash in which he closed at 6 to 5, and then proceeded to justify the confidence of his backers every step of the six-furlong trip, which he covered in 1:12. Ovie Scurlock rode Tzaritsa to her clever score, and the capable Maryland reinsman, R. J. Martin, was astride Keep Moving, and, if the pun can be excused, that is literally all he had to do to win. Both Tzaritsa and Keep Moving were prominent factors from the start in the twin features, but Tzaritsa was on the head end for the full three-quarters, setting a fairly rapid pace, and then resisting the challenge of Pompeian and Foretell, who closed some ground in the stretch, with something to spare. , -
