Hooper Wins Detroit Award FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 27. Jockey Claude Hooper was the first saddle artist to claim the 00 award presented by the Detroit Racing Association to riders who score on three mounts during a days program. The veteran booter brought home Tetramore, Pilates Miss and Mayram on the Monday card.
