Exercise Rider L. De Grazia ! Injured in Randall Spill RANDALL PARK, North Randall, Ohio, May 27. Although not in a critical condition, exercise boy Lewis De Grazia suffered injury when thrown this morning while exercising Gilt Edge, who races for Mr. and Mrs. C. Gabel and is trained by Mrs. ! Audrey Gabel. The 21-year-old native of New York City was removed to the nearby Bedford Hospital, and examination revealed he had sustained a fractured jaw in two spots and partial severance of his left ear. The horse is understood to have ducked while rounding the far bend and in so doing pitched his rider. The lad had been exercising horses for some time.
