Arthur Brent to Take Charge Of McLaughlin Detroit Unit FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 28. Trainer Arthur Brent, conditioner of the stable of R. S. McLaughlin, Canadian motor magnate, is expected from Toronto to take charge of the stable of horses already quartered at Detroit. Brent, who saddled McLaughlins Moldy to win the Kings Plate last Saturday, sent six more horses to augment the stable members here. Late arrivals were Kingarvie, Impera-tor, Santa Claus, Volante, War Wrack and Felario. Kingarvie may make his first local appearance in the Col. Alger Memorial Handicap, 0,000 mile and a sixteenth Memorial Day headliner, while Imperator may be seen in the six-furlong Decoration Day Handicap on the same day. Jockeys Jimmy Stewart and Joe Stanton arrived to do the stable saddle duties.
