MISS SHOW ME, off sluggishly, worked her way forward steadily under good handling, responded to punishment in the drive and wore down BOLO PRINCE during the last eighth. BOLO PRINCE, never far back, reached the lead in the stretch, but was unable to hold MISS SHOW ME. ZESTFUL, a sharp factor from the start, went into command between calls in the stretch, but could nol hold her advantage under brisk handling. ARMY GLIDER, sent to the inside for the drive, could not threaten the leaders. GOLD PROXY was hustled to the front early, made the pace to the stretch, then weakened. DAME J. was outrun. STAR THORNE was never dangerous. BIG ALBERT was outrun. JOHNNIE EHRET gave vay after racing prominently to the stretch. NONCHALANTA, away slowly, never was a serious factor. MAIHIGH, away alertly, disposed of CINESAR after three furlongs, held a clear lead when settled for the stretch turn, then withstood a brisk drive to hold KHAMSEENS BOY safe. The latter, outrun to the stretch, came to the inside for the drive and finished fast under punishment. PUFFED UP held on well in a good effort and had no excuse. BOLO BABE failed to rally when set down in the drive. LITTLE HARE began slowly, was forced wide by RATION near the upper turn, made a good bid when clear, then weakened during the stretch run. STELLA SNYDER raced in nearest pursuit of AUNT DRUM after the break, came gamely when roused for the drive, but could not menace the latter although easily best of the others. HATTIE STAR raced evenly and had no excuse. WASHBURN began slowly and was far back throughout. ETTENAN S. gave way after engaging BERT-RAM to the stretch. CRYSTAL DODGER was never dangerous. BULL PLAY, a sharp factor from the start, went to the front approaching the stretch, gave way to BUBBLING EASY during the drive, came again when roused, regained command, then failed to withstand SUGAR BEET. BUBBLING EASY, never far back, went into command entering the stretch, then faltered during the last eighth. SANDSLINGER began very slowly. TAKE WING could not threaten. PETSOME had brief speed. CASA LIBRE lacked early speed and failed to rally when roused for the stretch run. FLYING BN gave way after showing brief speed. PHIL TOWN was never prominent and-had no excuse.
