Suffolk Stewards Suspend Trainer in Drugging Case SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., May 28. The stewards announced the following ruling today: "On the report of the Massachusetts state chemist that an analysis of the urine taken from Sun Flame, winner of the second race May 15, 1947, showed the presence of a stimulant benzedrine, trainer W. E. Collins is hereby found, under rule 517-A of the Massachusetts State Racing Commission, to have been negligent in the care of the horse, Sun Flame, previous to the second race May 15, 1947, and to have violated Rule 606 of the Massachusetts State Racing Commission. Trainer W. E. Collins is suspended for the remainder of this meeting and his case is referred to the Massachusetts State Racing Commission for whatever action they deem proper."
