Illinois Notes WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., May 31. Beruit, a two-year-old owned by R. A. Lewis, arrived here from Churchill Downs and was added to the string Milton Resse-guet is training. Acting for Marion H. VanBerg, trainer R. L. Erwin traded Five A. M. to E. W. Kalenski for the sprinter Albulil. Trainer Dave Hum added to his list Lady Eileen and Knights Coin, both two-year-1 olds belonging to his wife, after the pair arrived here yesterday from a farm near Arlington, Tex. A. Franco revealed he has sold half interest of the plater, Count Quick, to B. Landy and in the future the gelding will race under the name of the Mar-Dot Farm. R. W. Boyens is the trainer. Bilronette, a juvenile filly owned by H. C. Martin, was turned over to K. Brady to train after being sent here today from Churchill Downs. Trainer Phil G. Johnson handled a transaction today for Harry Johnson in which Big Scat was sold to C. W. Kendle. The 10-year-old son of Scat will be sent to River Downs this week, according to the " new owner. Mrs. Helen Hyde and her father, T. J. Grace, both of whom have horses here in charge of Harry Belk, are visitors from Wichita, Kas. Stuart Bullock has been appointed to train the nine horses C. C. Ware has quartered here. He replaces J. J. Sirl, who remained in action by taking over L. Brana-mans George Martis for the rest of the meeting here. Earl Kelleys lone colorbearer, Sudden Scare, was claimed yesterday by George Gerber. J. L. Allgaeir, who owns half interest in the sprinter, Miss Tartan, arrived here in company with his wife from Louisville, Ky., and plans an extended visit. S. E. Kidwell reported sending his Little Tulip to a farm near Lexington, Ky., to be freshened up for a brief period. The two-year-old daughter of Yellow Tulip failed to train kindly since a recent outing here, according to her owner. William H. Bishop added High Mayer to the string he is training here by purchasing the four-year-old gelded son of Million Bucks at private terms from Mrs. C. A. Nicholas.
