Bier man Gets Five Days SANTA ANITA, Arcadia, Calif., May 31. — For failing to keep a straight course with Singing Sir in the stretch run in the second race here last Saturday resulting in a disqualification of his mount, jockey Carroll Bierman was suspended for five racing days from June 2 through June 8, 1949. During the period of his suspension, Bierman will be permitted to fulfill stakes engagements on file. He already has been signed to ride Just Why in the Oaks on Saturday; •
