Jockey Burns AWOL AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., May 31.— C. E. Brown, Jr., trainer of an extensive unit owned by himself and Bernard Gil-lispie, stated this morning that jockey Eddie Burns, who is under contract to him, had departed from the local track without the proper authority from his contract employers.
