SURVEY, reserved close to the pace until the final turn, came through on the inside to gain the lead, drew clear and won as her rider pleased. FAIR STRIKE improved position gradually on the extreme outside to finish with good energy. FEATHER STITCH, outrun for a half, weaved between horses to close with a rush. HANDY SORT was well up throughout and had no mishap. COTTON BUD was under urging to set the pace for a half, then tired. LUCKY COPPER was unable to keep up. HEAD WOMAN was used up forcing the pace. FRIEDACRES drew clear soon after the start, went well on the turns and was not extended in the final sixteenth. HER GIFT, a forward factor from the start, drew in closest attendance of the leader on the final turn, but was unable to make up ground. MANUELA lacked early speed and was able to get through on the inside, but failed to reach serious contention. LITTLE DRAM broke alertly, forced the pace to the final turn, then weakened slightly. CORRUSHEEN finished with good energy. DEVIATrON was unable to keep up. MY DIVIDEND raced evenly. SPEEDY JO went well for a half mile. JACOMO broke sluggishly and was never a factor. RAMPAGEOUS, reserved close to the pace, came between horses when set down and was up in the final strides to outfinish STICKER. The latter improved position gradually on the outside to be near the leaders entering the stretch, then finished with a belated rush. CHEVALIER finished with a rush on the extreme outside that just missed. FRAPIA was under urging to set the pace, held on tenaciously, but was not good enough. WISE BRUNETTE weakened in the final sixteenth. SUPREME MOMENT was in close quarters while forcing the pace. FAIRANFIT showed nothing. SUNSHADE tired after a half. FIRE RAIDER was through early. BIG REWARD engaged the leader after a quarter mile, assumed command entering the stretch and drew out under intermittent urging. GAY FRANKA, steadied until in the final quarter mile, closed willingly under pressure. GLADYS H. showed speed from the start, set the rapid pace and held on gamely when challenged, then tired in the final yards. MISS RHODA showed a good effort. RIP SNORT, outrun to the final quarter, closed well on own courage. HELIOPTIC [ was never a serious factor. MARLTOWN was unable to keep up. CLAIRE DAUBER flashed brief speed. KENAYR was kept in close ; attendance of the pace on the outside, moved around the leaders entering the stretch and drew clear, but had * to be hard ridden to hold LEAVETAKING safe. The latter was slow to settle into best stride, worked her way - up on the outside and just missed catching the winner. BRASSY LIE alternated in setting the pace, was 2 unable to shake off opposition and weakened in the late stages. CLOVER MISS passed tiring horses. VARODI was used up forcing the pace. MARIE EGRET had no mishap. CORONET STAR, under stout restraint for a - mile, failed to respond when roused. JOHNS DATE, kept within striking distance of the pace and eased back to the inside as the leader bore out, closed determinedly when straightened for the drive and was up in the final stride. MUSICAL LADY drew clear soon after the start, raced wide on the far turn, continued to drift out entering the stretch, retained the lead, thin faltered at the end. M. LONGEINE. forwardly placed beween leaders, was eased back and sent to the inside and closed with good energy. LIZA LEE showed good speed throughout. MONIFIETH passed tiring horses. WONDER WHY showed nothing. AIRY ACRES was never prominent. FLAMARE flashed brief speed. The others were outrun. Scratched— 75694 Fantom Venture, 113. MARSEILLES broke slowly, was rushed on the outside to gain a forward position, forced the pace under light urging, came to the inside for the drive and outfinished SASON. The latter engaged the leader soon after the start, drew out slightly after a half, increased the lead entering the stretch, then weaved through the stretch, faltering in the final stride. QUICK CHANCE, well up in the early running, was taken off the pace and steadied to the final quarter, then closed with good energy. FLIGHT GAL was taken back off the pace and steadied, but failed to rally when roused. LESINIAN was under pressure to stay with the pace. SAMBA SIREN closed ground in the late stages.
