Representatives of TRA, HBP A Meet in East BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 31. — A meeting of representatives of the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of the United States and the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association will be held in New York City on Thursday. Dan Chappell, Hirsch Jacobs and John Manfuso, all executives of HBP A, will represent that association, with Donald Ross, president; Spencer Drayton, executive secretary, and perhaps other officers of TRA acting for the national track organization. Matters to be discussed have not been disclosed. Spencer Drayton later announced that a meeting of the directors of the TRA would be held before the conference with the representatives of the TRA.
