BLUE RHONDA raced in close attendance to JOEVAL, was bothered slightly when the latter drifted wide in the stretch, but responded to pressure and drew away. GLYNBRO, outrun to the stretch, saved ground and finished fastest. JOEVAL had good early speed, then drifted wide while tiring in the drive. SANDLOT was forced wide outside horses coming into the stretch and lacked an effective rally. WITH EASE could not reach a contending position under punishment in the early stages and finished evenly. WAR RIPPLE, never far back and saving ground, moved to the leaders while still in hand on the final turn and drew out in the stretch while winning with something left. DESPITE raced within easy striking distance, threatened on the outside entering the stretch, but could not match strides with the winner. FLIGHT NURSE came from far back in the final quarter. HILL FOX was a keen factor to the stretch, but could not match strides with the winner. KARDOSO quit LLOYDS unseated his rider in the qate, galloped off three-sixteenths, then was taken up repeatedly in the running while hemmed in by DESPITE from the half until six furlongs. BOYISH LOVE quickly opened a commanding lead, held sway under hustling tactics and, although tiring in the late satges, won in handy fashion. JOHNS DATE was taken under a tight hold when unable to menace the winner early, then could not get up when set down for the drive. RESPIRE had good speed under urging, but, weakened in the stretch run. SUPER FOOT gave an even effort. SLOWER was outrun. GORGET began -sluggishly. CADET DAN was never a threat. SEELY, smartly ridden and alertly sent into a clear lead immediately after the start, set the pace under mild pressure to the stretch, relinguished command while drifting slightly wide, then came again under extreme punishment and won going away. BEARING CLEAR raced prominently under occasional restraint, responded willingly to take command at the midstretch, then could not stay with the winner in the late stretch. VAR, outrun to the stretch, circled horses and closed fast. WHITE HAWK saved ground in the drive. The latter was eased back £ from the swift pace, saved ground and slipped through on the inside into command in the early stretch, then £ held on tenaciously under good urging. TIME ROLL, between horses most of the distance, finished well under punishment SECOND SON forced the pace under pressure and gave way in the final stages. REIGH JANE, always within striking distance, came to the outside for the drive and closed willingly under punishment KANDY COMFORT was steadied on the outside while contending for command, came wide into the stretch and, although tiring, held on gamely. IKE JUNIOR set the pace under a hustling ride to the stretch, then faltered. DIRECTOIRE was outrun. GERHAM quit. CAPTAIN BOUDOUR gave a poor effort PLAY TAG lacked speed. SPLIT THE WIND was- under stout restraint while forcing the pace, easily assumed command after the half, drew into a long lead, but had to be hard ridden in the late stages to hold ANDANTINO. The latter was taken in hand when passed by the winner, then finished gamely under punishment in the drive.
