REYNOLDS JR., steadied along for the first half mile, began to advance on the outside soon after leaving the backstretch, rallied under extreme pressure i nthe early stretch to wear down INCHCAPELLA a furlong out and, after engaging in a bumping match with INCHCAPELLA, gradually drew out. INCHCAPELLA made the pace in hand, lost command to FOLLANSBEE leaving the backstretch but came again under pressure to take command in the early stretch and, while in close quarters in the late stages, tired just short of the end. FOLLANSBEE rushed up fast to take command after a half mile but had little left when the real test came. TOVIC was never a serious factor. RED BANJO raced wide on the first turn and was through early. STRUCTURE, SADIE DEE and DHITEMANS GREEN raced wide on the first turn and were outrun thereafter.
