My Dedr Stakes to Balladette; Mrs. Gibson Set Back for Foul THORNCLIFFE PARK, Toronto, Ont., June 15. — After the running of the My Dear Stakes today, jockey A. Monteiro, who rode Petrolas, made a claim of foul against the winner, Balladette, and the second horse, Mrs. Gibson. The claim against Balladette was disallowed, but the claim against Mrs. Gibson was allowed. Petrolas was placed second and Mrs. Gibson third. The trouble was caused by Mrs. Gibson, who was on the inside, bolting suddenly as she was turning into the stretch despite jockey F. Dodges best efforts to keep her straight. Also for misconduct and impertinence when making the claim of foul, jockey A. Monteiro was suspended for the balance of the meeting, four racing days, by order of the stewards.
