Maige Mc Is Out To Add To Record at Maywood Starts in y000 Divided South Shore Pace; Bannock Bay Threat MAYWOOD PARK, Maywood, 111.; May 26. Maige Mc, the seasons leading race winner among the nations harness horses, will try to improve his position Tuesday night in the ,000 divided South Shore Pace at Maywood Park. Maige Mc has won eight of his 15 starts, including stake victories in the North Side Pace and both dashes of last Tuesdays Charles Coburn Pace. Five of the wins have been recorded since Maige Mc arrived here from Santa Anita. The four-year-old son of Eton was able to win only three races all last year for owner H. A. Meyer, Plymouth, Wis. Don Busse will drive Maige Mc in a field of 11 going a mile in the sixth and ninth races. Most serious competition looms from Bannock Bay, which defeated Maige Mc in one dash of the North Side, and Ima Hanover Dale. Bannock Bay, owned by W. E. Beck, Juneau, .Wis., has turned in three victories for the meeting but was disappointing in the West Side Stake, its most recent effort. Ima Hanover Dale, a seven-year-old mare owned by the Rizzuto Bros, stables, Chicago, captured one dash of the West Side event. Completing the field will be Josedale Double Hal, a winner last time out; Seth Parker, Jeffrie Jester, Stanfords Trademark, and Prorogue, Ruth Day, Stay Lucky, and Jayzoff Council. The latter four will go as the field entry, for mutuel purposes. Cox and McLernon stables Selka Mc, beaten only once in five starts, is favored over a field of eight pacers in the eighth race, .at one mile. Opposing Selka Mc will be Kim Castle, G. W. A., Jane Ruby, Theodores First, Beaver Hal, Cash Kirk, and Highway Pointer.
