George Mayberry Suffers Heart Attack Clocking Horse ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, HI., June 20. — George Mayberry, 66 years of age, trainer for Andrew J. Crevolin, of ; Alhambra, Calif., was in a serious condition at Sherman Hospital in Elgin late today after collapsing of a heart attack while clocking a horse from -the Arlington Park Grandstand early this morning. Mayberry, who resides in Long Beach, Calif., was given emergency treatment immediately in Arlington Parks 24-hour hospital by Dr. Harry Lewis and nurse Joyce Kraut, who are on all night duty. Dr. Herman J. Carr, track physician, arrived within 20 minutes and rushed Mayberry to the Elgin hospital in a track ambulance. At the hospital Dr. Carr said Mayberry s condition was "quite serious, but he is resting well." Mrs. Mayberry was at his bedside. Both reside in Arlington Heights during the Arlington Park meeting. Mayberry trains the Crevolin string, stabled at Arlington, which includes the stakes winners, Be Fleet and Valquest, and six other thoroughbreds.
