MUSICAL LADY opened a comfortable lead after a half mile, skirted the inner rail, but was not good enough. LONG HILL closed willingly under steady pressure. WAR TORO was unable to menace. BEHOLD weakened after forcing the pace. COOKIE BABY lacked early speed. MISS HEIDI was never prominent. HELANEIUS quit. ALMAEGO was outdistanced. USUAL swerved slightly leaving the gate, was quickly straightened and moved up steadily on the outside to reach the lead before entering the stretch and drew out easily. LORD LOUIS, a forward factor throughout, rallied under late pressure, but was not good enough. DICTIONLESS worked his way up on the outside to best the others. CRACKICE, steadied close to the pace for a half mile, moved on even terms with the winner on the turn, came to ipe inside and weakened. BRAVE LASS established the pace under steadying restraint and failed to respond when roused. WHERESTHEFIRE showed nothing. HEAT LIGHTNING was unable to keep up. JAKABLOM raced wide most of the trip. SUNSHADE moved readily when roused, reached contention on the outside nearing the final turn, engaged for command through the final sixteenth of a mile, broe in slightly, but was straightened to outfinish DANDY FOOT. The latter drew clear soon after the start, increased his margin rounding the far turn, shortened stride, but held on gamely. CHINA COLLEEN sliped through along the inside to challenge the leader and faltered. PHIL HARRIS raced close to the pace, challenged through the stretch and was pinched back when caught in a jam. MYTHOLOGICAL was unable to keep up. SMARTY-ARTY closed ground with a late rush. CONCERT PIECE was going fastest of all at the end. TROY ROAD showed nothing. HURRY PASS was outrun. GAVILAN tired. WATER BUFFALO was not perse-w vered with when beaten. A clainTof foul against the winner by the rider of PHIL HARRIS was allowed and SUNSHADE was disqualified and placed fourth.
