Eagles Add Sutton to Roster PHILADELPHIA, Pa., June 24 UP.— The Philadelphia Eagles professional football team today added defensive halfback Joe Sutton to the fold for his third season. Sutton, who started his professional career with the old Buffalo Bisons of the now-defunct All-America Conference in 1949, was selected by the Eagles in the combined draft for the 1950 season.
