Greely Has Unit in East PAWTUCKET, R. I., June 24.— Though Howard Wells, the well known Kentucky horseman has 13 horses in training here under the care of J. J. "Bud" Greely, it is doubtful that he will be able to visit the Rhode Island course during this meeting. Wells is confined to the Mount Sinai hospital in Chicago a victim of a series of complications. However, Greely visited with him last Sunday and reports this morning that he found Wells considerably improved and hoping that he may leave the hospital and return to his home in Kentucky soon.
