BUSS UP, a sharp factor from the start, assumed command after five-eighths mile and then drew out to win with speed in reserve. LILAC. In hand to the stretch, finished willingly under punishment, but could not seriously threaten the winner. BLENDID MUSIC swerved to the inner rail after the break and crowded LADY ROWENA, then qave a qood effort under strong handlino. HOOS ABBE tired after racing forwardy placed to the stretch. MIGHTY MOUSSE was weakly handled. ANDY JOE had early speed, but failed to stay. KEEN STEP showed nothing. LADY ROWENA, roughed after th» hreak, could not keep up and was not persevered with when hopelessly beaten. Scratched— 6025 Nioping. 114. Hoos Abbe claimed by T. TRAMORE BAY, never far back and well ridden, responded to punishment during the stretch run and, after racing with CEDRIC, held BALMORAL safe. The latter, forwardly placed from the start, finished willingly under punishment, but could not get to the top one. CEDRIC went to the front at once, made the pace to the final furlong, then faltered. BROWN BRUTUS was outrun. SANDLOT was never prominent. LOCK OUT could not keep up. DOMINION WENT LAME DURING THE POST PARADE, WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN AND ALL WAGERS ON HIM REFUNDED. Scratched- 000 Swyndor, 109; 57630 Dominion, 117; 594173 Well Met, 114. Balmoral claimed by H. Dunn.
