4 0 iC :e » n le •y r. in n 1_ y c_ id an n 3_ ig a a sv Hialeah Host to Largest Off-Season Crowd on Record MIAMI, Fla., June 24. — Hialeah Race Course recorded its largest off-season crowd in history during the recent Shrine convention at Miami, according to track officials who said 64,550 souvenir postcards were given the visitors during one week. The figure compares with 49,250 cards handed out during last falls American Legion convention. Each visitor takes two postcards, it has been learned through actual count over a period of years, For such convention groups, the track furnishes not only the postcards, but also the postage, free-of-charge. June 18. dur- ing the convention, marked the third larg- est visiting day in the tracks history, when 14.750 cards were distributed.
