i Careless Love After Third Set of Brackets at Ascot Herring Runner Matched With Sospiro and Dr. Pentick Today ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 11. — A claiming race at six and a half furlongs headlines tomorrows nine-race program here at Ascot Park. The feature has drawn an evenly matched field of seven, most of whom have been winners at this meeting. Those named are as follows: J. K. Wyn-koops Morgan Mist, Mrs. M. A. Gheens I Soundings, Roy Herrings Careless Love, R. C. Howards Sospiro, Mr. and Mrs. Pete i Maxwells Dr. Pentick, H. A. Burns Bull Ford, and Tintrel owned in partnership by Nacolas and Burrows. Careless Love, five-year-old daughter of Kenneyo — Anna W., will be seeking her third set of brackets of the meeting. Her last was exceptionally good when she defeated Gunter by four lengths at six and a half furlongs panel. Her time over a fast track was 1:20 and she was ridden by apprentice Norman Hart. In that race Hart broke the mare on top and she made every pole a winning one. Sospiro won his last outing over the track turning back Evenesta by a half length over a fast track at seven furlongs. In that race, with jockey Phillips aboard, the gelding was forwardly placed from the beginning and when set down in the drive disposed of Evenesta about 70 yards out. At Sunshine Park earlier in the year, Sospiro won two races and in both displayed fine speed. Dr. Pentick held the lead in a race here the other day until pust inside the furlong marker when he got an attack of the "slows" and wound up third, being soundly trounced by some 11 lengths. That race was contested over a muddy track, however, and with the possibility of a fast I track tomorrow the Dr. may be rough. Morgan Mist usually can be counted on for an honest race, Soundings has been a winner here this spring, while Tintrel and Bull Ford will be seeking their initial victories of the Ohio season.
