Fire Quickly Extinguished HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 11. — On the eve of the annual racing season, scheduled to start on Tuesday, Hollywood Park was saved from what might have developed into a major fire disaster early Sunday morning by the sprinkler system. The fire, which broke out at 5 a. m., was confined to the jockeys quarters and was quickly extinguished by the sprinklers with damage estimated at 00.
