PROSECUTOR, forwardly placed from the start and benefited by a well-judged ride, was taken out slightly near the furlong pole to secure racing room and, disposing of EVERETT JR., won going away. The latter, a keen factor from the outset, took a short lead when settled in the stretch and held on gamely, but was unable to withstand the top one. PORTRAY saved ground throughout in a sharp effort. LARRIEWEIL moved up boldly in the early stretch, but faltered during the last sixteenth. GOLDEN KING had no mishap. T0P-LATI0N went to the front at the start, set the pace to the stretch under pressure from MR. PROSECUTOR, but had nothing left for the drive. GREATER had a rough race. ALSAB ACE was never prominent. D0STA, forced back immediately after the break, failed to recover. THIRD WARD was through early. STREET SCENE UNSEATED HIS RIDER WHILE AT THE POST AND RAN OFF, WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN, BUT NO REFUND WAS MADE ON HIM AS HE WAS COUPLED IN THE BETTING WITH T0P-LATI0N. MISS REVOKED gave a sharp effort and had no mishap. LUCKEY PETE lacked early foot but finished fast. SONNY BROWN could not keep up. BR00KY tired after showing early speed. OLD PAT was outrun. DARING KING tired during the drive. CAPRIC0RNI0 was never dangerous. KASLICK began slowly. CHANCES ROLL had a rough race. C0NNIE-J0 could not keep up after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. ALS CHOICE was outrun. McCOSH tired after three-quarters mile. ENDEAR was unable to reach serious contention. CHANCE WAVE was through early.
