JIMMYS DOLL improved her position slowly after going a quarter and, getting through a wide opening in the stretch, took command a sixteenth out to win going away. PAR BOY had speed and was closest to NYMPHS PRIDE while the latter was making the pace, then went in steady fashion at the end. NYMPHS PRIDE showed good form in pacemaking and weakened in the stretch. THE BLUE MISS raced wide. F0XP0ISE was sluggish at the start and refused to extend himself. VICTORIA CROSS moved after FLAMING BUSH after going half the trip, and easily catching the latter, drew away in the stretch to win in hand. COUNT EASTER, as usual, lacked early speed but came steadily while most of the others were tiring. FLAMING BUSH went into a long lead after going a short distance, but weakened in the stretch. OBTAIN displayed little when called upon. HAND SALUTE tired. The others failed to figure in the running. Overweight— Senator Guy, 1 pound. EIGHTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. EARL, JR. was sent forward on the outside after going a half mile and, taking a short advantage nearing the stretch turn, increased his margin in the run home, but was hustled along t othe end. THE BARRISTER III. had difficulty finding an opening on the inside of ATOMIC ENERGY, but finally got through after going a half only to meet with a bid from EARL, JR. and was unable to hold the latter. THE FLIER saved ground while making his run and was going well at the end. MESCARA went evenly. STAGGERING IN failed to be a serious contender. GINNAS WAR tired badly. Overweight— Mescara, 3 pounds.
