Bright Riding for Eugene Jacobs BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 11. — The R. Jerry Bright riding in todays opener was born in Greenville, S. C, on March 15, 1932, moved to Hyattsville, Md., at an early age. Under various employers, he spent a year and a half with Howard Hoffman and has been with Eugene Jacobs, his present contract employer, for the last two months. He will have a four-star apprentice allowance only for Jacobs until he rides his first winner, after which he will move to the seven-pound class.
